From 7 to 9 May, the capital hosted Tashkent Flowers Fest 2026, the city’s major spring flower festival, which traditionally brought together residents and visitors at the square near the National Library of Uzbekistan. Throughout the three-day event, guests enjoyed spectacular floral displays, gala concerts, performances by folk ensembles, a handicrafts fair, and a vibrant cultural and entertainment programme.
Theatre+ became part of this colourful spring celebration by presenting a special theatrical performance created exclusively for the festival. On the main stage, the cast brought to life an original story in which flowers, a butterfly, and a gardener became the central characters. Through expressive movement, compelling acting, and vivid stage imagery, the audience was immersed in a magical world filled with the beauty of nature, kindness, and the spirit of spring.
The performance was specially designed to reflect the festival’s theme and complemented the festive programme perfectly. Light-hearted, engaging, and visually rich, the story captivated both children and adults, creating a unique atmosphere of joy, inspiration, and harmony with nature.
Participating in Tashkent Flowers Fest 2026 gave Theatre+ another wonderful opportunity to connect with its audience in the unique setting of an open-air city venue and to become part of one of the most beautiful cultural events of the spring season.
